Meeting people from all walks of life everyday, I realised many have to climb up the corporate ladder while juggling responsibilities at home. Living standards in Singapore are rising and things are getting expensive for average people. For Malaysians who are working in Singapore, they are facing an additional worry, which is the weakening of Ringgit.

I truly understand their plight as I have met many clients explaining their predicament to me, and how tough it is to make ends meet back in Malaysia. Even more so for my friends and family who are working and living in Malaysia.

Since young, I have led a rather comfortable life where all my needs for life are well provided for by my parents. They have managed to provide well for the family and it is not due to luck, but having good financial literacy and planning out their financial needs. As I grew up, I realised what I had enjoyed is not something that everybody had. This is the motivation factor that keeps me going to assist my clients with their financial planning needs to achieve the life that they dream of.

Being a financial advisor was not planned out, Definitely! There are times where I keep facing
rejections from clients, which led to me becoming unmotivated. However, I always remember the purpose of my job - to assist my clients to optimise their portfolios and achieve financial freedom. This purpose and the trusts that my clients placed with me, are things that keep me going despite the adversity.
